Background noise has always been the invisible barrier between amateur and professional audio. Expensive microphones help, but they don't solve the problem in noisy environments. Professional DAW plugins require skills most creators don't have time to learn. We are changing that with AI — one click, any file, any preset, studio-clean results in under a minute.
Built out of frustration — refined with purpose
In 2023, our founder Mohsin Raees was producing a podcast series while working remotely from Lahore, Pakistan. Despite a decent microphone, every recording was plagued by the hum of a ceiling fan, keyboard clicks, and street noise drifting through the window.
The existing tools were either too expensive, too complex, or produced results that sounded robotic and unnatural. After spending three hours manually cleaning a 45-minute episode in Audacity, he decided to build something better.
The first version of noise-remover.com was a Python script powered by a proprietary noise reduction model the team had been quietly developing. The results were stunning — clean, natural-sounding audio in seconds. After sharing it with a few podcasting communities, the demand was immediate and overwhelming.

From a Python script to a global platform

Mohsin writes the first version — a command-line script powered by proprietary AI to clean up a noisy podcast recording. Shares it in a podcasting Discord. 400 downloads in 48 hours.
The first web interface launches — a basic upload form and a download link. No accounts, no presets, one format. 1,200 users in the first month from organic search alone.
Three exceptional people join Mohsin to build the product properly. Sara handles AI model improvements, Ahmed builds the backend infrastructure, and Zara redesigns the entire user experience.
The full Studio experience launches — 6 AI presets, user accounts, subscription billing via Stripe, and all 6 output formats. 5,000 registered users by end of month. First $1,000 MRR.
The public REST API launches with three tiers (Dev, Pro, Business). First enterprise customer integrates noise removal into a SaaS transcription platform. API processes 10,000 files in month one.
