1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using noise-remover.com ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you are using the Service on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

These Terms were last updated on 1 June 2025 and are effective from that date.

2. Service description

noise-remover.com provides an AI-powered audio and video noise removal and voice enhancement service ("the Service"), accessible via:

  • The Studio web application at noise-remover.com/studio
  • The REST API at api.noise-remover.com
  • The user dashboard at noise-remover.com/dashboard

The Service processes audio and video files uploaded by users, removes background noise, enhances voice quality, and makes processed files available for download. The specific capabilities, presets, file size limits, processing durations, and output formats available depend on your account plan.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Service at any time, with reasonable notice where practical. We are not liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Service.

3. Account registration and responsibilities

3.1 Account creation

To use the Service beyond the anonymous preview, you must create an account by providing your name, email address, and a password (or by signing in through Google OAuth). You must provide accurate and complete information and keep it up to date.

3.2 Account security

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must not share your account password with any third party. You must notify us immediately at support@noise-remover.com if you suspect any unauthorised access to your account. We are not liable for any losses resulting from unauthorised use of your account.

3.3 One account per user

You may not create multiple accounts to circumvent free plan limitations. Creating additional accounts to obtain additional free processing minutes constitutes abuse of the Service and may result in permanent termination of all associated accounts.

3.4 Age requirements

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are between 13 and 18, you must have parental consent to use paid features of the Service.

4. Plans, billing, and payments

4.1 Free plan

The free plan provides 15 minutes of processing per calendar month and WAV-only download format. Free plan usage resets on the first day of each calendar month. Unused minutes from the previous month do not carry over.

4.2 Paid subscriptions

Paid subscription plans (Weekly, Monthly, Yearly) are billed in advance at the start of each billing period. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date. You may cancel your subscription at any time from your dashboard; your access to paid features continues until the end of the current paid billing period.

4.3 Pay As You Go (PAYG)

PAYG credits are purchased as a one-time payment and do not expire. Credits are deducted from your PAYG balance based on the duration of files processed. PAYG credits are non-refundable after use.

4.4 API plans

API plans (Dev, Pro, Business) are billed monthly in advance. Overage (usage beyond the included monthly minutes) is billed at the rates specified on the pricing page at the end of each billing cycle.

4.5 Refund policy

All paid plans include a 7-day money-back guarantee from the date of first payment. To claim a refund, email support@noise-remover.com within 7 days of payment with your receipt number. Refunds are processed within 5-10 business days. After the 7-day period, payments are non-refundable except where required by applicable consumer protection law.

4.6 Price changes

We reserve the right to change our pricing at any time. For existing subscribers, price changes take effect at the next billing cycle after at least 30 days' notice via email.

4.7 Failed payments

If a payment fails, we will retry the charge according to our payment processor's retry schedule. After multiple failed attempts, your account will be downgraded to the free plan. You will receive email notifications for all payment failures and can update your payment method in your dashboard.

5. Acceptable use policy

5.1 Permitted use

You may use the Service for lawful personal or business purposes, including but not limited to: cleaning up podcast recordings, improving video content audio, processing call recordings for quality review, building applications using the API, and any other legitimate audio processing use case.

5.2 Prohibited uses

You must not use the Service to:

  • Upload, process, or distribute audio or video content that violates any applicable law, including copyright law, privacy law, or applicable recording consent laws
  • Upload content containing child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or any content that sexualises minors
  • Process recordings made without the consent of all parties required by applicable law
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, disassemble, or extract our AI models or proprietary algorithms
  • Use automated means to circumvent usage limits or rate limits
  • Resell, sublicense, or white-label the Service without written authorisation from noise-remover.com
  • Introduce viruses, malware, or other harmful code through file uploads
  • Conduct any activity that disrupts or degrades the performance of the Service for other users
  • Create multiple accounts to circumvent free plan limitations
  • Scrape, mine, or extract data from the Service beyond normal API usage

5.3 Content responsibility

You are solely responsible for the content of audio and video files you upload. You represent and warrant that you have all necessary rights, licences, and consents required to upload and process the files you submit. We are not responsible for the content of files you process through the Service.

6. Intellectual property

6.1 Our property

The Service, including its AI models, algorithms, software, user interface, branding, and all content produced by noise-remover.com, is owned by noise-remover.com and protected by intellectual property law. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from our software or models without express written permission.

6.2 Your content

You retain all rights to the audio and video files you upload. By uploading files for processing, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to process your files solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you. This licence terminates when your files are deleted from our servers (within 1 hour of processing for output files; immediately for input files).

6.3 Feedback

If you provide feedback, suggestions, or ideas about the Service, you grant us an irrevocable, perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use such feedback for any purpose, without obligation to you.

7. Privacy

Your use of the Service is subject to our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the Service, you consent to the data practices described in our Privacy Policy.

8. Disclaimers and warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that:

  • The Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times
  • Any specific level of noise reduction quality will be achieved on any particular recording
  • The Service will meet all of your requirements
  • Any errors in the Service will be corrected

AI noise removal quality depends on many factors including source audio quality, noise type, voice-to-noise ratio, and other recording conditions that are outside our control. We make no guarantees about specific quality outcomes for individual recordings.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, noise-remover.com shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:

  • Your use of or inability to use the Service
  • Any unauthorised access to or alteration of your files or data
  • Any content obtained from the Service
  • Any other matter relating to the Service

In no event shall our total liability to you for all claims arising from or relating to the Service exceed the amount paid by you to us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or $100 if you have not paid any amounts.

10. Termination

10.1 Termination by you

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us or using the account deletion feature in your dashboard settings. Termination does not entitle you to a refund of any subscription fees paid, except as provided in our refund policy.

10.2 Termination by us

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account immediately, without notice, if:

  • You violate these Terms, particularly the Acceptable Use Policy
  • You engage in fraudulent activity or abuse of the free plan
  • Your continued use of the Service poses a risk to other users or the integrity of the Service
  • Required by law or a regulatory authority

In cases of termination for cause, you will not receive a refund of any prepaid subscription fees. For terminations without cause by us (e.g., discontinuation of the Service), we will provide a pro-rata refund of any unused prepaid subscription fees.

11. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in the courts of Lahore, Pakistan.

You waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration. Disputes must be brought individually.

12. Changes to these terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. For material changes, we will provide at least 14 days' notice by email and via a prominent notice on our website before the changes take effect. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you must stop using the Service before the effective date of the changes.
